The work is based on recordings of the collection of seaweeds the artist and designer Julia Lohmann has collected from around the world. Bull kelp from New Zealand, Bladder wrack from Lofoten, Saccharina from Japan. Along these is the Cladophora Glomerata I collected from Vartiosaari.

When touched with fingertips, the seaweeds sound as if they are uttering words, and in our minds, sentences and sentience starts to grow and form, as if the seaweeds were whispering something to us.
